Illinois Online Network: Educational Resources

A selected assortment of resources provided by the Illinois Online Network. ION has been developing these resources since the early 1990's. This is not a comprehensive search engine, but rather a comprehensive collection of documents produced by ION along with some selected outside resources when they have been found to be exemplary by our staff.

The Virtual Instructional Designer (VID)

The Virtual Instructional Designer (VID) is a Learning Anytime Anywhere Partnership (LAAP) grant-funded project to create a Web-based performance tool for post-secondary faculty designing Web-based distance courses.
